Hersheypark’s newest roller coaster, Wildcat’s Revenge, will open on June 2, with some season passholders getting a chance to ride as early as May 29.

Wildcat’s Revenge (Hersheypark)
Wildcat’s Revenge is one of the most-anticipated new rides of the year. It’s the latest creation from Rocky Mountain Construction (RMC), which specializes in redesigns of wooden coasters into steel-tracked hybrids beloved by riders for intense airtime and inversions, such as Iron Gwazi at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay.
This particular RMC conversion is built on the bones of the Wildcat wooden coaster which closed last year. Drone footage released by Hersheypark shows off Wildcat’s Revenge in action — including its 140-foot-tall lift hill and 82-degree first drop.
Riders will go through four inversions over 3,510 feet of track, including one that Hersheypark calls the “world’s largest underflip.” The park described this element in an earlier press release as “an inversion that begins with an upward climb, followed by a counterclockwise 270-degree roll and a dive down towards the side.”

The “underflip” on Wildcat’s Revenge (Hersheypark)
If you have a Hersheypark King Size season pass, you can register for “first to ride” access to the coaster on May 29-31. The coaster will open to all guests on June 2.
Wildcat’s Revenge is the first RMC to open in Pennsylvania and the 14th coaster in Hersheypark. The park’s last new coaster addition was Candymonium in 2020.
