With 100 days left until Universal Orlando opens Epic Universe, the resort is offering a sneak peek at some of the food items coming to its third theme park.
The preview includes items from each of Epic Universe’s five lands along with the Helios Grand Hotel located at the back of the park.
In Celestial Park, Epic Universe’s hub, you can find sea bass at the seafood-heavy Atlantic, Tonkatsu ramen at The Blue Dragon Pan-Asian Restaurant, hearty breakfast and BBQ options at The Oak & Star Tavern, and plenty of — what else? — pizza at Pizza Moon.

Super Nintendo World is bringing over some of the same food and drink options seen in the Hollywood version of the land. This includes separate burgers for Mario and Luigi, a Bowser-inspired one-pound meatball and a apple melon-flavored Yoshi’s Smoothie.

Dark Universe will offer food “to die for,” in Universal’s words, across its three dining locations, Das Stakehaus, The Burning Blade Tavern and De Lacey’s Cottage.
Das Stakehaus features food literally on stakes, with one of three protein options (blackened salmon steak, grilled dry rubbed chicken tenderloin, or wild mushroom brisket meatloaf) served with roasted vegetables and charred green onion mashed potatoes.

Another menu item inside Dark Universe is the “Blood” Orange Chicken Sandwich, which Universal described as “flash-fried marinated chicken breast tossed in a tantalizing blood orange sauce served in a sinister black bun with tangy pickles, a slaw and crispy fries.”

The newest Wizarding World of Harry Potter land, Ministry of Magic, delves into French-inspired cuisine such as a Baguette de Dinde, which Universal described as “sliced cracked black pepper turkey piled high with arugula, crisp apples and creamy Brie served with a warm crusty baguette with zesty mustard butter and apple butter.” For those desiring a more familiar Wizarding World, you’ll find Butterbeer-flavored crepes.

How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk has some appropriately Viking-themed items. These include the chocolate and cinnamon drink called Yaknog and the Thawfest Platter, which Universal said was a “grand spread of tender chicken drumsticks glazed in a wild berry BBQ glaze, grilled salmon, and succulent sausage served with a medley of roasted carrots, cipollini onions, Nordic fries, and side sauces.”

The hotel located practically inside Epic Universe, the Helios Grand, has its own special menu items to entice guests away from the new park. These include charred octopus, shish kebabs, and a heritage tomato and burrata salad.

Epic Universe’s grand opening is currently set for May 22. According to Blog Mickey, the park is rumored to begin previews with Universal team members later this month, likely on a land-by-land basis before expanding to a preview of the entire park at the end of February and early March.
