2025 marks the 10th anniversary of the Boysenberry Festival at Knott’s Berry Farm, and the Buena Park, California park is marking the occasion with new live entertainment and more boysenberry-flavored menu items.
If you’re new to Knott’s lore, park founder Walter Knott helped popularize the boysenberry beginning in the 1930s, with its sales and the famous Knott’s Chicken Dinner Restaurant leading to Knott’s Berry Farm becoming a tourist destination.
Boysenberries remain a key component of Knott’s food offerings today, but that’s especially true during the annual Boysenberry Festival, with this year’s edition offering more than 80 special items.

According to a Knott’s press release, the new-for-2025 menu items will include boysenberry BBQ pulled pork over boysenberry corn bread and coleslaw, French toast stuffed with boysenberry cream cheese, Thai crunch peanut salad with boysenberry peanut dressing, boysenberry cheesecake crisp pie, a vegan white chocolate and boysenberry tart, and a boysenberry ice cream sandwich.

For live entertainment, this year’s event will feature a new show called “The Great Bank Robbery” inside the BIrdcage Theater. Knott’s described it only as “an all-new show that will have the audience cheering the hero and booing the villain.”
Also new for this year will be “Boysen Bear’s Pie Kitchen Games” in Calico Park, which Knott’s said “invites guests to help thwart those sneaky coyote pups, Moxie and Brawny, from stealing all the pies.” Returning favorites for the festival will include “Boysen Bear’s Pie Eating Contest” at the Calico Mine Stage and the festival crafts fair, featuring work from two dozen local vendors.
Knott’s Boysenberry Festival will operate daily at the park from March 28 through April 27.
