Legoland Florida has released its lineup of special events for the rest of 2019, including a new event based around “The Lego Movie.”

The park’s major 2019 expansion will be Lego Movie World, opening on March 27. The new land includes three rides along with new shopping, dining and character interactions themed around “The Lego Movie” and its recently released sequel.

“The Lego Movie World is our largest addition to date and will provide guests around the world with the ultimate movie-to-theme park experience,” said Keith Carr, project director of Merlin Magic Making, the creative development arm of Legoland’s parent company, Merlin Entertainments.

This summer, the park will host a new event called Lego Movie Days, which will include special meet-and-greets, a mosaic build, scavenger hunt and themed food. The rest of the calendar includes several returning events, such as the Red, Brick & Boom Fourth of July festivities and the Halloween-themed Brick or Treat.
