Universal Orlando Resort’s newest ride, “Race Through New York Starring Jimmy Fallon,” opens April 6.

Guests will take a ride through New York City in a race against Fallon, who hosts the popular weeknight TV show, “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.” To celebrate the attraction’s grand opening, the show will tape from Universal April 3 through 6.

The attraction introduces a flying theater, which seats up to 72 audience members. Guests will speed through the streets of New York City, encountering iconic landmarks like the Statue of Liberty and the Empire State Building, while experiencing the sights, sounds and smells of the Big Apple.

The ride replaces Twister: Ride it Out, which closed a year ago.

Race Through New York Starring Jimmy Fallon will be the first attraction at Universal Studios Florida to feature a new Virtual Line experience, allowing guests to spend less time waiting. The Virtual Line can be accessed through the Universal app or at kiosks outside the attraction.
