Universal Orlando’s next two hotels will open early in 2025, ahead of the summer 2025 debut of the resort’s third theme park, Epic Universe.

Universal Stella Nova Resort will open on Jan. 21, 2025, followed by its sibling, Universal Terra Luna Resort, on Feb. 25. Like the other Universal on-site hotels, the properties will be co-owned and operated by Loews.

A Universal press release said that “the alluring hotels place guests in the center of marvelous galaxies and diverse planetary elements for an experience unlike anywhere else in the universe – complete with tranquil sleeping accommodations, entertaining amenities for the whole family to enjoy, various cosmic-inspired dining options and so much more.”

The hotels will feature 750 rooms each and carry a starting price of $147 per night (based on stays of four nights or more). While Universal didn’t mention a specific hotel category for the resorts, the price point is closer to its Prime Value class — which includes the Cabana Bay Beach Resort and Aventura Hotel — than the two sides of the Value-level Endless Summer Resort.

Universal also announced some amenities for the two new hotels. Both Stella Nova and Terra Luna will feature a quick-service restaurant, poolside bar and grill, and a lobby bar, along with 10,000-square foot pools, hot tubs, a fitness center, game room and their own Universal Orlando stores.

The new accommodations will also have the same theme park perks as other Universal hotels at the Value and Prime Value levels: early admission to Volcano Bay and to one of the two existing theme parks, and shuttle bus transportation to the Universal Orlando Resort. The latter is especially needed for Stella Nova and Terra Luna, as they’re located several miles south of the current Universal property.

The new hotels will be the first pieces of the Epic Universe development open to the public. The theme park itself is scheduled for a summer 2025 opening, with Universal slowly rolling out details about the park’s five new lands. The property will also include another new hotel, the 500-room Universal Helios Grand Hotel, which will have its own dedicated entrance into Epic Universe.
