Holiday favorites like Grinchmas and The Magic of Christmas at Hogwarts Castle are returning to Universal Orlando later this year.
“Guests will find a winter ‘fun’-derland that the entire family will enjoy with incredible holiday experiences across the entire destination that put a twist on the traditional,” Universal said in a press release.
From November 16, 2019 through January 5, 2020, Universal will be bringing back special offerings seen in last year’s holiday celebration.
Much of the festivities will be focused within the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. Both Diagon Alley in Universal Studios Florida and Hogsmeade in Islands of Adventure will be decked out in garlands and lights, hot Butterbeer will be back on the menu and special holiday versions of the Frog Choir and Celestina Warbeck stage shows will be performed.
Islands of Adventure will also feature “The Magic of Christmas at Hogwarts Castle,” a nighttime projection show inside Hogsmeade, along with the Grinchmas festivities inside Seuss Landing, including the “Grinchmas Who-liday Spectacular” show.
In Universal Studios Florida, guests can enjoy the Universal Holiday Parade featuring Macy’s and live concerts by Manheim Steamroller on select nights.
Universal’s press release also mentioned its New Year’s Eve celebrations around its on-site hotels and CityWalk will be back to close out the decade, with details set to be revealed at a later date.
