Universal Orlando’s Mardi Gras celebration is only a few weeks away and the resort has revealed which bands will be taking over the Music Plaza Stage at Universal Studios Florida on select nights.

The concert lineup includes:

  • Feb. 3: Walker Hayes
  • Feb. 10: The All-American Rejects
  • Feb. 17: Elle King
  • Feb. 18: KC and the Sunshine Band
  • Feb. 24: Barenaked Ladies
  • March 2: DJ Khaled
  • March 9: Ava Max
  • March 10: Queen Latifah
  • March 16: Luis Fonsi
  • March 17: Zedd

While the event runs from Feb. 3 through April 7, the concerts are only scheduled through March 17. Universal has previously added extra performers later in the Mardi Gras season, the resort described Thursday’s announcement as the “complete” concert lineup.

Alongside the usual seasonal food offerings like beignets, the Mardi Gras parade will be back for the event. This year’s theme will be “elements,” Universal said, with six new floats “beautifully designed parade floats inspired by Earth, wind, fire, water, the sun and the moon.” The new floats will appear alongside the usual New Orleans-style floats.

If you’re looking to ride on the Mardi Gras parade floats and toss beads out into the crowds, Universal is offering two options in 2024. The first is the Mardi Gras Float Ride & Dine Experience, which starts at $85 and offers a three-course at one of four restaurants inside Universal Studios Florida or CityWalk: Finnegan’s Bar & Grill, Lombard’s Seafood Grill, Cowfish Sushi Burger Bar, or NBC Sports Grill & Brew.

The other option is reserving a spot through Virtual Line on Universal Orlando’s mobile app. More details on the precise reservation process will be coming at a later date, but Universal said that you’ll need to be on Universal property in order to book a spot.
