The first of 10 haunted houses coming to the 33rd edition of Universal Orlando’s Halloween Horror Nights has been announced.

As part of a presentation at the Spooky Empire convention in Orlando, Universal revealed an original house, Slaughter Sinema 2, a sequel to a house that was featured at HHN in 2018.

Universal’s reveal also included a look a scare actor:

The house will be themed around eight fake horror movies. Those could include hints at future HHN houses, as the original Slaughter Sinema’s fake films have since inspired real houses, such as the two Yeti-themed houses at HHN events in 2019 and 2023.

There are nine haunted houses and five scare zones left to be revealed for the 2024 edition of Halloween Horror Nights. The event has its earliest start ever this year on August 30, and will take over Universal Studios Florida for 48 nights through Nov. 3. Check out the full schedule here.
