When you’re visiting Orlando and spending most of your time inside theme parks, you don’t always need the fanciest accommodations, but you don’t want a disgusting, bedbug-ridden dive either.
You can be taking a big risk on some of the cheapest deals available in Orlando. Take it from a veteran Orlando tourist like me, the quality varies greatly on off-site hotels, even between locations with familiar brand names. So when you can find a reliable, inexpensive and comfortable hotel in the major tourist corridors, that’s something worth noting for future visits.
Located at 7110 S Kirkman Road, less than two miles away from the Universal Orlando Resort, this Hampton Inn regularly goes for between $70 and $80 a night. It delivers exactly what I hoped: a comfortable place to lay my head down after a long day of roller coasters and dark rides.
