The 31st edition of Universal Orlando’s Halloween Horror Nights will kick off on September 2, the resort announced Thursday.
The event will take over Universal Studios Florida on: Sept. 2-4, 7-11, 15-18, 21-25, 28-30, and October 1-2, 5-9, 12-16, 19-23, and 26-31. That’s a total of 43 nights — one more than the event’s longest run to date in 2019 and 2021.
Unlike last year, when Universal announced its Beetlejuice house along with the HHN dates, no houses or scare zones have been officially revealed for the 2022 event. The Universal website does mention that HHN will once again feature 10 houses, five scare zones and two shows.
However, Horror Night Nightmares released the first edition of its HHN 31 speculation map on Twitter, which in recent years, has accurately predicted at least some of the houses.
Happy #HHN31 season everyone! We know you’ve been waiting for it, you’ve sent us enough messages telling us as much, so here’s version one of the speculation map!

Single-night tickets for the event are now on sale through Universal Orlando’s website. Prices range from $74 for most weekdays and Sundays to $105 for October 29, the last Saturday before Halloween.
You can also buy tickets for the fully-guided R.I.P. Tour starting at $250 per person (regular HHN admission not included) and for the daytime “Unmasking the Horror Tour” where you can see the houses with the lights on, starting at $80 for a three-house tour.
