The “brand-new show” Universal Orlando is bringing to Halloween Horror Nights will be a horror-themed fountain show in the Universal Studios Florida lagoon.
Called Halloween Marathon of Mayhem, the show will utilize infrastructure that Universal debuted last year for its regular nighttime show, Cinematic Celebration. Some of the properties featured in this year’s HHN houses, including “Ghostbusters,” “Stranger Things,” and “Killer Klowns from Outer Space,” will also be part of the new show.
“Giant water screens highlighting iconic horror scenes, accented with more than 100 fountains, awesome special effects, pounding electro music, lasers and more will bring this all-new experience to life – creating a larger-than-life mix tape that guests won’t want to miss,” Universal said in a press release.
The show will run three times — at 10 p.m, 11 p.m., and midnight — on HHN event nights.
“Halloween Marathon of Mayhem” completes the lineup for the 29th edition of Halloween Horror Nights. Featuring 10 houses, five scare zones, and another live show with the Academy of Villains dance troupe, HHN will kick off on Sept. 6 and take over Universal Studios Florida on select nights through Nov. 2.
