Universal Studios is expanding its Mardi Gras celebration to 50 consecutive nights.
The annual festival will be held every night from February 4 through March 25. In previous years, Universal’s Mardi Gras had a sporadic schedule, with one day on, followed by off days.
Headliners performing at this year’s event include girl group Fifth Harmony, multi-platinum recording artist Jason Derulo, country singer-songwriter Toby Keith and the legendary Earth, Wind & Fire.
The Mardi Gras parade has added six new floats themed to mystical creatures. The event also includes bands from Bourbon Street and Cajun cuisine at The French Quarter Courtyard.
Concerts are included with admission to Universal Studios but some annual pass holders will be blocked out on some concert dates.
