Unionized Disney World workers will vote March 29 on a tentative deal to raise the resort's minimum wage to $18 in December.
The agreement covers the 43,000 employees represented by the Service Trades Council Union coalition.
In Disney World, the latest layoffs will affect only part-time employees after union negotiations.
The agreement includes mandatory face masks for guests and employees and paid sick leave for any worker who contracts COVID-19.
