It's the first time the 2003 film has been featured at Orlando's Halloween Horror Nights, but Universal Studios Hollywood has based three houses around it at past events.
Universal revealed the scare zones for the event, confirmed the return of the Academy of Villains, and mentioned another “brand-new show that will debut for the first time ever at Halloween Horror Nights.”
“Us” joins an elite lineup of intellectual properties being showcased at HHN this year, including “Ghostbusters,” “Stranger Things,” and “Killer Klowns From Outer Space."
Not only does the house fit with this year’s 1980s theme, but Universal has a history of turning popular scare zones from one HHN into houses for the next event.
The Universal Monsters maze will feature several of the earliest horror creations from Universal Studios, such as Dracula, Wolf Man, the Mummy, Frankenstein’s monster and the Creature from the Black Lagoon.
