Universal's newest hotel crushes Disney when it comes to offering more bang for your buck at a "value" resort.
The 2,050-room Dockside Inn & Suites was supposed to open in March.
Sapphire Falls and Aventura will temporarily close on Aug. 21 as Universal consolidates guests into fewer properties.
Just like other theme parks, Universal Orlando can't escape questions about its response to the coronavirus outbreak.
“When the hotel opens on March 17, 50 percent of the rooms will be available to guests (1,025 rooms) and then the remaining rooms will open later in 2020,” a Universal spokesperson told Orlando Rising.
The project is the latest in Universal Orlando’s rapid hotel expansion.
