California's rules against indoor queues has forced Indiana Jones Adventure to use some of the Jungle Cruise queue space.
The reveal came at the end of a virtual press event which Disney did not allow media outlets to record.
Blue Bayou will become the second location where the general public can buy booze inside Disneyland.
The expansion could potentially include new lands in Disney's two existing Anaheim parks and a new shopping, hotel and dining district.
The parks have not been open with rides or attractions since March 2020.
The event will start March 18 and run on select dates through April 5.
The rest of the Grand Californian and Disneyland's other two on-site hotels will remain closed.
Disney CEO Bob Chapek said the ability to remove COVID-19 restrictions largely depends on how quickly people get vaccinated.
No attractions will be open during the event due to California's COVID-19 guidelines.
