The policy doesn't go as far as Disney World, which is mandating that all non-union employees get vaccinated by the end of September.
Disney also said it has started conversations with employee unions on the vaccine mandate.
Team members at Universal will be required to wear masks in indoor areas starting Saturday, but the requirement doesn't apply to guests.
Both vaccinated and unvaccinated guests will have to wear masks in indoor spaces and throughout all attractions.
