The unannounced visits determine whether theme parks are complying with Orange County, Florida's rules on face masks and physical distancing.
The open jobs include positions for which SeaWorld had recently permanently laid off furloughed employees.
“We are working to reopen the ride as soon as possible,” Universal said.
The reduced operating hours go into effect on Sept. 8.
Disney has announced that Rivers of Light, Primeval Whirl and Stitch's Great Escape are now permanently closed.
With COVID-19 cases and test positivity rates rising in Central Florida, Disney World will reopen its theme parks on July 11.
Theme park reservations will become available on June 22 for guests staying at a Disney World hotel.
Disney says the cancellations are necessary because of the capacity restrictions aimed at limiting the spread of the COVID-19 virus.
