Six Flags Magic Mountain’s deep coaster lineup and location may necessitate an overnight stay to get the most out of your visit if you’re not a Southern California local.
In February 2023, I wanted to stay as close as possible to the park to get there well before the scheduled opening on a busy holiday weekend. The closest hotel was the Hilton Garden Inn Valencia — just a three-minute drive from the Magic Mountain parking gate — which cost me $137 for the night through Hotels.com.
I’ve found Hilton Garden Inns to be among the most consistently clean and comfortable of the three-star chain hotels and this Six Flags location only reinforced that positive view.
