SeaWorld’s new Electric Ocean extravaganza has been extended a month through Labor Day weekend.
The nighttime celebration fills the park’s extended summer hours with at techno-themed dance party, a new fireworks display and evening versions of its sea lion and killer whale shows.
The show was originally scheduled to run from 7:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. through Aug. 5 but now will continue Saturdays through August, as well as Sept. 2 and 3.
The change makes sense because the park is filled with vacationers through the end of the summer.
The nighttime activities end with the new fireworks display, “Ignite,” that includes synchronized water effects from 168 fountains that shoot up to 100 feet in the air. The pyrotechnic effects, towering flames, and laser projections are choreographed to music.
