Universal Orlando’s lineup of houses and scare zones for the 2019 edition of Halloween Horror Nights is now complete.

The final house announced is based around “House of 1000 Corpses,” a 2003 horror film directed by Rob Zombie that has since developed a cult following. Fans can expect to see a recreation of Captain Spaulding’s Museum of Monsters and Madmen from the movie.

“Without a moment to catch their breath, guests will venture to the chaotic home of the Firefly family, a sadistic clan of psychotic killers, where the psychosis deepens and the depraved thrive,” Universal said in a press release. “It is a chilling journey into the netherworld of terror that weaves its way through a cavernous network of dark tunnels within the bowels of the house.  Populated by the degenerate victims of Dr. Satan’s debauched operations, legions of tortured creatures shuffle about as Dr. Satan continues his twisted medical practice, eagerly awaiting a new installment of victims.”

It’s not the first time “House of 1000 Corpses” has made a HHN appearance; it was the basis for a house called “American Nightmare” at Universal Studios Hollywood’s event in 2000, ahead of the film’s planned release by Universal Pictures. The studio later shelved it due to concerns it would receive a NC-17 rating, with Zombie eventually buying back the film and releasing it through Lions Gate Entertainment in 2003.

It made a return to HHN Hollywood in 2010 and 2011 as “Rob Zombie’s House of 1000 Corpses: In 3-D Zombievision.”

Zombie’s music career will be the star of a separate scare zone at this year’s Orlando event, as announced by Universal earlier this week.

With all 10 houses now revealed — including major franchises like “Ghostbusters” and “Stranger Things” — all that’s left for Universal to confirm its live entertainment for HHN. Along with the return of the Academy of Villains dance troupe, Universal said Tuesday that a “brand-new show” will debut this year, but has yet to offer more details.

The 29th edition of Halloween Horror Nights kicks off on Sept. 6 and will run on select nights at Universal Studios Florida through Nov. 2.
