Spots are being reserved for culinary demos, brunches, cooking seminars and the annual Party for the Senses at Epcot International Food & Wine Festival.
The festival has become the king of Disney upcharge events. This year’s festival expansion to 75 days provides more opportunities for special events that carry a premium price on top of admission.
The 22nd annual festival runs from Aug. 31 through Nov. 13.
The “Mix It, Make It, Celebrate It!” hands-on workshops are back, plus daily culinary demos along with beverage and cheese seminars on select Saturdays in the Festival Center.
“Party for the Senses” features culinary giants, master sommeliers and live entertainment for the festival’s priciest tickets in E town, which range from $179 to $329 per person.
The premium package also includes reserved seating for 5:30 p.m. and 6:45 p.m. performances of the Eat to the Beat concert series with 32 different shows by performers such as Billy Ocean, Sister Hazel, and Taylor Dayne.
The outdoor events are at 7:30 p.m. Sept. 23, Oct. 7, 14 and 21, and Nov. 1 at the World ShowPlace Events Pavilion.
Celebrity chefs cook up plated breakfast specialties on select Fridays and Sundays at “What’s Cookin’ With.” The $129 meals feature famous gourmet chefs like “Cake Boss” star Buddy Valastro, restaurateur and TV personality Jamie Dean and “Iron Chef” personality Cat Cora.
Attendees can learn new tips and tricks, while eating the latest concoctions at each presentation.
