The Disneyland Resort has revealed its slate of seasonal events for 2024, with the most notable addition being the return of Pixar Fest starting on April 26.

The festival — which first ran in 2018 — will see the return of the “Together Forever – A Pixar Nighttime Spectacular” fireworks show to Disneyland. Disney California Adventure will get a new daytime parade for the event called Better Together: A Pixar Pals Celebration, featuring some newer Pixar characters such as Red Panda Mei from “Turning Red.”

Speaking of new characters, Mei, plus Ember and Wade from “Elementals,” will be among the new meet-and-greet characters seen during Pixar Fest, which runs through Aug. 4, 2024.

The rest of Disneyland’s seasonal event calendar looks like this (and yes, some events do overlap):

  • Jan. 23-Feb. 18: Lunar New Year at Disney California Adventure
  • Feb. 17 and 24: Celebrate Gospel at Disneyland Park
  • Feb. 22-23: Anaheim Ducks Days at DCA
  • March 1-April 22: DCA Food & Wine Festival
  • April 5-June 2: Season of the Force at Disneyland Park
  • Aug. 23-Oct. 31: Halloween Time, resort-wide
  • Aug. 23-Nov. 2: Plaza de la Familia at DCA
  • Nov. 15-TBD: Holidays at Disneyland Resort, resort-wide

Season of the Force, a “Star Wars”-themed event, will include the return of the Hyperspace Mountain overlay to Space Mountain. It will also mark the debut of the new scenes in the Star Tours attraction in Tomorrowland that were announced at the Destination D23 event in September.

Besides these special events that are included with park admission, Disneyland is bringing back several separately-ticketed offerings in 2024.

Four different themed Disneyland After Dark events will be held on select nights from January through June at Disneyland Park, while DCA will once again host Oogie Boogie Bash during the Halloween season. Exact dates for these hard-ticket events have not yet been announced.
