The next gate at the Legoland Florida now has an opening date and ticket prices.

Peppa Pig Theme Park Florida will open to guests on Feb. 24, 2022, next door to Legoland Florida. One-day tickets will cost $31 in advance and $35 at the gate, with two-day, two-park bundled tickets starting at $135. Annual passes for the new park are already available for $75.

The lower price reflects its smaller scale. Peppa Pig Theme Park will encompass 4.5 acres (compared to the 150-acre main Legoland Florida park) and six rides, headlined by a new kiddie roller coaster called Daddy Pig’s Roller Coaster.

“Every corner of the charming new park is crafted with preschoolers in mind, from their first roller coaster rides with their parents and free fair games for the whole family, to an all-terrain course where they will pedal tricycles through a sensory-rich trail and a colorful splash pad that celebrates ‘muddy puddles’ jumping fun,” Legoland said in a press release. “Through every experience, families will snort, giggle, and create their family’s first theme park memories together with Peppa and her friends.”

It will be the first separately-ticketed park based on the long-running British cartoon series. According to CNBC, “Peppa Pig” was the most popular kids show on streaming services in 2020 and is Hasbro’s No. 1 licensed franchise, racking up more than $1 billion in merchandise sales.

The new park will be one of the largest expansions of Legoland Florida, which is currently celebrating its 10th anniversary. Theme Park Tribune was on site when the resort’s last new land, Lego Movie World, opened in 2019.
