Even with the 2023 theme park season drawing to a close, Six Flags Fiesta Texas is opening its newest coaster.

Kid Flash Cosmic Coaster consists of a pair of dueling single-rail tracks, each outfitted with LED lights. The family coaster is built by Skyline Attractions, have a 36-inch height requirement, will be able to seat either two children or an adult and a child in each of its rows and will span a combined 1,124 feet over its two tracks.

The first chances to ride on Oct. 27 and 28 will be done through vouchers that had been handed out to passholders earlier this year. If you don’t have a voucher, you’ll have to wait until the ride open to Diamond, Diamond Elite, Diamond Elite VIP, and Ultimate Pass holders from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Oct. 28.

All guests will be welcome on that ride that day from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m., with the next few days alternating between times exclusive to passholders and members and times open to everyone. The entire preview schedule is available on the Fiesta Texas website.

The coaster’s official opening date will be Nov. 4.

Kid Flash Cosmic Coaster will be the 12th roller coaster at Fiesta Texas, which added Dr. Diabolical’s Cliffhanger last July.

The exact same ride will be opening on Nov. 4 at Six Flags Over Georgia, with a shorter member and passholder preview window from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

The division’s revenue was up 17 percent year-over-year to $2.4 billion, with earnings jumping by 20 percent to $983 million.

Comcast president Mike Cavanagh said, “The reaction to Nintendo and Hollywood in Japan continues to be fantastic, and we’re very excited about bringing the experience to Florida soon.” He went to say that Epic Universe — Universal’s third Orlando theme park which will include an expanded Super Nintendo World — is “simply breathtaking,” based on his recent site tour.
