Merlin Entertainment will open LEGOLAND New York in 2018, the third Lego theme park in the United States.

LEGOLAND New York will feature themed play areas and more than 50 rides, shows, and attractions, along with a hotel. New York’s LEGOLAND follows parks of the same name in California and Florida.

Merlin is the second-largest entertainment corporation in the world and operates more than 100 attractions in 23 countries across four continents. The new LEGOLAND will be located on 523 acres in the town of Goshen, New York, two hours north of New York City.

The entertainment giant has released few details about their newest park. However, a 3-D video showing development plans will be shown Nov. 15 at the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA) Expo Trade Show at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando.
