Legoland parks in Florida and California have shared new images and details about their space-themed indoor family coasters that are set to debut in 2026.
The coasters don’t yet have a name, but in Legoland California, it will become the centerpiece of a brand new land that will also include a “junior astronaut training zone,” a new retail space and dining location and two other new rides to be announced a later date, according to a Legoland press release.

The new land will be located on the former site of the park’s Driving School attractions, which were moved nearby to make room for this project.

Legoland Florida’s new coaster will be joined by its own shop as well as a Duplo-themed play area for younger kids, the Winter Haven, Florida park said. It’s currently being built on the site of the Flying School coaster which closed in August 2023.
The two expansions represent a $94 million investment, according to Legoland. “This isn’t just about a new innovative coaster; it’s about creating an entire universe for our guests to explore, where the boundless creativity of Lego meets the wonders of space,” said Flora Liu, senior project manager of Merlin Magic Making, the creative unit within Legoland’s parent company Merlin Entertainments.
The two indoor coasters were first announced by Legoland this past March. This will be the California park’s first new coaster since 2004 and the first for Legoland Florida since the park’s 2011 opening.
