Bungalows at LEGOLAND’s newest hotel will more than double the accommodations at the theme park, which is already taking reservations before the April 7 grand opening.

The village-style LEGOLAND Beach Retreat will have 83 beach-themed bungalows offering 166 separate rooms that sleep five, each with LEGO décor. The addition comes less than two years after the 152-room LEGOLAND Hotel opened and five years after the Winter Haven park’s opening.

The brightly colored bungalows are grouped into 13 coves named after popular LEGO mini figures. Each includes an outdoor play area within view of the bungalows’ shaded patios, where parents can watch their children play.

Located about a half-mile from the theme park entrance, the resort also features a swimming pool and sandy play area, a buffet restaurant, pool bar, a giant LEGO lighthouse with a rotating beacon and views of Lake Dexter.

Nightly room rates start at $135 plus tax and resort fee. Through the end of December, guests can save 20 percent on a room-and-ticket package for LEGOLAND Beach Retreat stays from April 7 through Sept 3. The package requires a minimum two-night stay and includes a two-day ticket per person to LEGOLAND. A hotel stay also includes complimentary parking in LEGOLAND’s main parking lot and early access to the theme park.
