A new pizzeria is coming to Knott’s Berry Farm in summer 2022.
As first reported by the Orange County Register, the new dining location will be called Prop Shop Pizzeria: An Italian Kitchen. Knott’s had announced on Jan. 11 that a new restaurant would be replacing the existing Hollywood Hits, but hadn’t divulged the new eatery’s name.

Its setting will be a repurposed props and costume warehouse for the theater next door, as the counter-service restaurant will be located in the Memory Lane section of the park, next to the Walter Knott Theater.

While concept art shows a sign emblazoned with “Boysenbrewery,” the Register reports that Knott’s won’t brew its own beer on site, but will offer a selection of alcoholic beverages. Food options will include pizzas, pastas, and salads.
Along with outdoor and indoor dining sections, Prop Shop Pizzeria is also expected to offer mobile order pickup and a to-go window for alcoholic drinks.
The new restaurant is one of the few additions Knott’s has announced for 2022. No new attractions or shows are scheduled to open this year following the addition of Knott’s Bear-y Tales: Return to the Fair in 2021, which itself had been delayed by the park’s 14-month, COVID-19-induced closure.
