Children will get new toys for Christmas thanks to a holiday ticket offer at LEGOLAND Florida Resort.
Kids can get into the theme park for free when guests donate a new toy and buy an adult ticket. The holiday promotion benefits needy children through the Toys for Tots charity.
To qualify for the Kids Go Free discount, the toy valued at $5 or more must be purchased at participating Walmart stories from Tampa to Daytona Beach. The gift can be dropped off in the Toys for Tots bins at the Winter Haven theme park entrance. A Walmart proof of purchase must be presented along with the donated toy when buying the adult ticket.
The offer is valid through Dec. 31. Each qualifying toy is eligible for one Kids Go Free discount with the purchase of single-day adult admission. The offer cannot be combined with other promotions and adult tickets purchased prior to the toy donation are not eligible to receive the discount.
Toys for Tots will deliver the donated toys to children in Polk County, home of LEGOLAND Florida Resort.
“As a vacation destination built for kids, we’re delighted to work with other businesses that share our desire to brighten the spirits of children,” said Adrian Jones, general manager of LEGOLAND Florida Resort.
The community effort is a gesture of goodwill for the region’s youngest members, said George Overstreet, co-coordinator of Toys for Tots Polk County.
“Every child deserves a toy for Christmas,” he said.
