Six Flags Over Georgia is getting a new coaster this year — though you may not know that from the lack of activity on its construction site.
The Austell, Georgia park is one of two in the Six Flags getting a dueling single-rail family coaster attraction called Kid Flash Cosmic Coaster, along with Six Flags Fiesta Texas. In Georgia, the coaster will be located in the Gotham City section of the park.

The coaster is being built on a plot near the entrance to Gotham City that was most recently occupied by Joker: Chaos Coaster, a Larson Loop ride.

There were few signs of visible work done on the site, other than the obvious removal of the Larson Loop. No coaster track was present and no progress on the queue or station.
The plot of land does contain a forgotten attraction from Six Flags’ past: the theater once used for a “Batman”-themed stunt show in the 1990s.

Kid Flash Cosmic Coaster does not have an announced opening date. When it does debut, it will be Six Flags Over Georgia’s 12th coaster, and its first since Twisted Cyclone debuted in 2018.
