The Blumhouse horror franchise “Insidious” will be represented with a haunted house at Universal’s Halloween Horror Nights events on both coasts later this year.

The house, named Insidious: The Further, will see guests “step through the iconic red door, where many of the tormented spirits and demons from the franchise await – determined to ensnare humans and steal their souls,” according to a Universal press release.

Universal also said the house would include encounters with entities from the “Insidious” films such as The Red-Faced Demon, KeyFace, The Bride in Black, and The Man Who Can’t Breathe.

“Insidious” was previously featured in houses in 2013, 2015, and 2017 at Universal Studios Hollywood and in 2015 and 2017 at Universal Studios Florida.

The announcement means that nine of the 10 houses for Universal Orlando’s HHN and four of the eight houses for HHN Hollywood have been revealed.

The 33rd edition of Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Florida kicks off with a new $350 “Premium Scream Night” on Aug. 29, followed by 48 other event nights through Nov. 3. Check out the full schedule here. At Universal Studios Hollywood, HHN starts on Sept. 5, and will also wrap up on Nov. 3.
