Disney illustrated the fine art of misdirection in its theme park announcements Wednesday.
A post on the official Disney Parks Blog highlighted several new animatronics coming to Disney World. The most notable news out of the post was that Epcot’s Frozen Ever After would be getting new figures, replacing the projected faces of Anna, Elsa and Kristoff’s current animatronics with the sculpted faces seen in the ride of the same name at Hong Kong Disneyland.
The Disney post said, “Early next year, this investment will bring a more true-to-film look for these beloved characters.”
Yet that wasn’t the most significant Disney theme park news of the day, as a slew of price hikes were revealed at both Disney World and Disneyland.
At the Florida resort, one-day ticket prices are breaking the $200 barrier for the first time. Prices vary by park and by day, so here are the new price range for each Disney World park:
- Magic Kingdom: $139-$209
- Disney’s Hollywood Studios: $139-$204
- Epcot: $129-$199
- Animal Kingdom: $119-$184
Those cheapest prices are hard to come by, too. In fact, the next available date where you can obtain tickets at the low end of those prices is Aug. 18, 2026.
Disney World is also raising all of its annual pass prices by between $20 and $80. The lowest-tiered Pixie Dust pass will now cost $469, followed by the Pirate pass at $869, the Sorcerer pass at $1,079, and lastly the Incredi-Pass — the only one available to non-Florida residents and non-DVC members — now costing $1,629.
Out in Anaheim, Disneyland annual passes, called Magic Keys, are increasing as well, but only for its top two tiers: the Inspire Key will now cost $1,899 and the Believe Key will cost $1,474.
Disneyland’s daily ticket prices are also going up. Tickets will now cost between $104 and $224, depending on which day you’re visiting. The lowest-priced tickets, called Tier 0, are available for 32 dates in the next six months, according to Variety.
To cap off the price hikes, Disneyland is raising the cost of parking by another $5 to $40, and Lightning Lane Multi-Pass will now cost $34 per person per day.
