For every Grand Floridian or Portofino Bay in and around Orlando’s theme parks, there are dozens of generic chain hotels that aren’t hyped up by podcasters and influencers. Sometimes all you need on your Orlando trip is a cheap, dependable place to rest your head after an exhausting open-to-close theme park day.
Then again, you don’t want that cheap place to be unsafe or unclean either. Which is why I do reviews like these.
WoodSpring Suites Orlando International Drive is one of those interchangeable, no-frills chain hotels. This location is close to SeaWorld and a roughly 15- to 20-minute to either Universal Orlando or Walt Disney World. It’s not a place for lounging around, but for $67 per night, you can do a lot worse.
