Plenty of theme park hotels promise proximity as their premiere perk, but few get you as close as the Helios Grand Hotel at Universal Orlando.
Helios Grand isn’t just walking distance to a park, it has its own dedicated entrance which will give you a head start at rope drop compared to guests coming through the main gates. But that usually comes with a price tag averaging around $400 per night.
That wasn’t the case for my September 2026 stay, where the annual passholder discounted rate was only $165, quite literally less than staying at one of Disney’s lowly All-Star rooms on the same dates.
