Hersheypark is expanding its Halloween haunt event Dark Nights with a new haunted house and a longer calendar.

The event’s third season will run for 25 select nights starting Friday, Sept. 13 and running through Nov. 3. Joining the previous houses Haunted Coal Mine, Twisted Carnevil, The Descent: Catacombs of Decay and Auntie Mortem’s Abattoir will be the all-new Estates of Evil.

Here’s how Hersheypark described the new house in its press release:

A charming new brownstone has officially hit the market. Wander through the 13 rooms of this spacious mansion and prepare to be captivated by the meticulous care the live-in waitstaff has taken to preserve the past. While exploring, envision yourself tending to the enchanting garden, entertaining inside the lively game room, and raising a glass inside the private wine cellar. But, be vigilant, or suffer the same fate as the previous owners.

Three scare zones will also be included with the event. Midway of Misery and Fallout Zone will return alongside the new-for-2024 Darkstone’s Hollow: Battle for Spring Creek, a sequel for the Darkstone Hollow scarezones seen at the 2022 and 2023 events.

For a more family-friendly Halloween, Hersheypark will offer trick-or-treating trails and Halloween costumes for the Hershey characters, along with the return of the Creatures of the Night flashlight tour inside ZooAmerica. The Boardwalk at Hersheypark will feature a new path called Avenue of the Afterlife, a “scare-free zone” during Dark Nights for those not wanting jump scares and ghoulish characters.

Admission to Dark Nights and Hersheypark Halloween festivities are included with regular admission to Hersheypark, including any season passes.
