The biggest coaster train reveal of the first day of the IAAPA Expo to Hersheypark and its upcoming hybrid coaster Wildcat’s Revenge.

The Rocky Mountain Construction creation has a striking look to match its 140 feet in height, 82 degree first drop and four inversions.

RMC is beloved among coaster enthusiasts for these conversions of older wooden coasters into steel-and-wood hybrids packed with airtime — such as Iron Gwazi at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay.

Rendering of Wildcat’s Revenge (Hersheypark)

Wildcat’s Revenge is built on the bones of Wildcat, which opened in 1996 and closed in July, though an earlier wooden coaster bearing that same name opened in 1923. The new RMC coaster is set to open next summer.
