It may be the middle of Halloween season at Universal Orlando, but the resort’s holiday celebration are less than a month away — and the lineup looks a lot like the pre-COVID days.
The annual Holidays at Universal Orlando Resort celebration will start Nov. 13 and run through Jan. 2, 2022. The previous year — like everything else in 2020 — was missing some key offerings that will be returning this season, including the “Grinchmas Who-liday Spectacular” show.
The traditional Macy’s parade will also be held again this year at Universal Studios Florida. In 2020, the parades were kept indoors, being transformed into a walkthrough experience to allow for physical distancing.
In the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, holiday decor will return, along with the special holiday versions of the Frog Choir and Celestina Warbeck stage shows. The “Magic of Christmas at Hogwarts Castle” projection show will be held nightly once again in Hogsmeade inside Islands of Adventure.
Familiar elements that were able to be modified last year will also be back, such as decorations around Seuss Landing — complete with the Whos from Who-ville — as well as seasonal food and drink options throughout the parks.
