Fun Spot America is bringing a new roller coaster to its Kissimmee location — and fans will help name it.

The new family coaster will be five stories tall, span 1,300 feet of track and have a 42-inch height requirement. Fun Spot will actually be the coaster’s third home, as it previously resided in Georgia’s Wild Adventures park and Celebration City in Branson, Missouri.

“I scream, you scream we all scream for more roller coasters,”  Fun Spot America CEO and owner John Arie Jr. said in a press release. “We are pleased to announce the construction of our fourth roller coaster in Kissimmee and newest scream machine that will be perfect for our thrill-seeking family audience,” John Arie Jr. said.

The coaster was built by Portland-based E&F Miller Industries, which specializes in smaller family coasters such as the Sea Serpent at Fun Spot America’s Orlando location.

While it has a new home, the coaster doesn’t have a name. Fun Spot will select a name based on fan suggestions submitted on its Facebook page.

If your suggestion is chosen, Fun Spot will give you a pair of season passes and the chance to be one of the first riders.

The coaster is scheduled to open before the end of the year.

“We’ve added this roller coaster to our Christmas wish list and are working quickly to have it ready just in time for the holidays,” Arie Jr. said.
