One of the Florida’s most popular restaurants will reopen next month with a new name, look and menu.
The former Fulton’s Crab House is being rebranded as Paddlefish. Fulton’s was ranked 20th highest in sales of all non-chain restaurants before it closed in 2015. Since then, the owners, Levy Restaurants, have been renovating the lakeside restaurant at Disney Springs.
The new restaurant has the same steamboat look but the interior has been totally refurbished. The bow to stern transformation includes a more contemporary yacht feel, replacing the turn of the century riverboat ambiance, according to the John Frost, author of the Disney Blog. There will be new china, glasses, silverware and a new menu, which will focus more exclusively on seafood. Paddlefish’s signatures dish will be a Louisiana-style seafood boil.
The third floor of the restaurant will be reserved for private banquets. A new lounge will provide a unique vantage point to view Disney Springs’ activities, including the nightly drone show, Starbright Holidays.
Paddlefish is hiring for all positions at a career fair Tuesday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Wolfgang Puck restaurant in Disney Village.
