Universal Orlando’s Epic Universe is getting something new to keep guests in the park until closing time: a new nighttime show.

Called “Universal Celestial Goodnight,” the show debuting on July 7 will feature “nearly 600 synchronized light fixtures, over 350 larger-than-life fountains, and seven million LED lights embedded throughout Celestial Park,” according to a Universal press release.

That suggests the show will not be confined to the Cosmos Fountain at the back of the park near the Helios Grand Hotel. That fountain was recently drained for what was thought to be infrastructure work connected to a new show and the “Celestial Goodnight” name was trademarked back in December.

Universal also said the show would “tribute to the inspiring characters and adventures found within the portals of Epic Universe” and culminate with “jaw-dropping fireworks.”

“Universal Celestial Goodnight” would be the most significant addition to the park since its opening in May 2025. Outside of a larger show reserved for an early media preview, Epic Universe has ended its nights with a show at the Cosmos Fountain limited to only music and water effects with some lighting effects — but with no fireworks.
