SeaWorld’s all-new Electric Ocean transforms the park into an immersive undersea world that glows, entertains and ignites.
The celebration fills the park’s extended summer hours with at techno-themed dance party, a new nightly fireworks display and nighttime versions of its sea lion and killer whale shows.
The outdoor dance party at Club Sea Glow is designed for all ages and features live DJs and 35 performers. The party starts with undersea-themed dancers who entice the crowd to join the party. Specialty acts, puppeteers and entertainers also interact throughout the evening.
Guests can become a part of the party with accessories that glow, blink, and keep pace with the music.
“Sea Lions Tonite” returns to the lineup after a two-year hiatus. Clyde and Seamore star in a skit about a SeaWorld visit through the eyes of sea lion superstars. A SeaWorld Mime entertains before the show.
“Shamu’s Celebration: Light Up The Night” is an evening version of the show that features the park’s iconic killer whales.
SeaWorld has created a special menu for Electric Ocean, including craft beers, salted caramel popcorn ice cream, tostadas, and Belgian waffles. A new Snack Pack Sampler Lanyard allows guests to select five snacks or drinks for $25.
The nighttime activities end with the updated fireworks display, “Ignite,” that includes synchronized water effects from 168 fountains that shoot up to 100 feet in the air. The pyrotechnic effects, towering flames, and laser projections are choreographed to music.
Electric Ocean extends the park hours to 10 p.m. each night through Aug. 5.
