When Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge opens at Walt Disney World late next year, it will include a classic Star Wars setting: a cantina.

The first food or beverage location announced for the new land will be called Oga’s Cantina. Disney describes it as a “notorious watering hole” where visitors to Black Spire Outpost come to meet friends, foes and “conduct shady business.”

“Run by an intriguing alien proprietor, Oga Garra, the cantina adheres to a strict code of conduct that tries to keep its unruly patrons in check,” Walt Disney Imagineering portfolio creative executive Scott Trowbridge wrote on the Disney Parks Blog. “But with a history of being a smugglers’ safe haven and a popular stopping point for those seeking to avoid the authorities, you can bet that the cantina has a story or two to tell.”

Trowbridge, whose theme park resume includes work on Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man and the early stages of Harry Potter attractions at Universal’s Islands of Adventure, added that Imperial stormtroopers or other familiar faces in the Star Wars universe might show up.

Disney confirmed that the menu will include alcoholic drinks as well as nonalcoholic choices for kids. Any alcohol ordered at the cantina will have to be consumed before leaving.

While the availability of alcohol isn’t anything special for Disney’s Hollywood Studios — which opened a pub called BaseLine Tap House in the park just last year — it’ll be a historic change in California’s Disneyland. Since the days Walt Disney himself roamed the park, alcohol was only served in the exclusive Club 33.

As for what will be on the menu, Disney didn’t offer any specifics.

“Patrons of the cantina come from across the galaxy to sample the famous concoctions created with exotic ingredients using ‘otherworldly’ methods, served in unique vessels,” Trowbridge wrote.

In a nod to Star Wars history in Disney parks, the music at the cantina will be provided by RX-24, or Captain Rex. This droid acted as the pilot of vehicles in Star Tours before being replaced in the attraction’s 2011 overhaul.

Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is set to open at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in late fall 2019. The Disneyland version will open first in the summer of 2019.
