I force myself to stay in a lot of off-site hotels in Orlando and Anaheim in pursuit of potential deals. Sometimes that works out nicely and sometimes it doesn’t, but in the latter cases, poor room design is not often to blame.
But it was for the Sonesta Anaheim Resort Area, a 3-star hotel located around a 1.5-mile walk from the entrance to Disneyland.
This former Holiday Inn wasn’t a bad hotel, exactly, but this particularly glaring design flaw, along with some problems with other services, make it hard for me to recommend for a stay beyond a night or two.
