Disney hiring for Pandora opening and summer crowds

Walt Disney World Resort is preparing for what it hopes will be an onslaught of visitors to its newest land and the upcoming summer crowds by hiring more than 1,000 employees.

The online spring hiring event includes both full- and part-time positions at all four Disney theme parks, two water parks, the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex, Disney Springs and its resort hotels.

Pandora: The World of Avatar opens May 27^th at Animal Kingdom and competes with the opening of Universal Orlando Resort’s Volcano Bay on May 25th. Memorial Day falls on May 29^th this year. Universal recently hired more than 1,700 new employees.
