Disney Cruise Lines has begun taking reservations for its 2018 sailing schedule, which includes three ships sailing out of Port Canaveral.
The Disney Fantasy, Disney Dream, and Disney Wonder will offer three-, four- and seven-night voyages from Brevard County’s Port Canaveral, just an hour east of Walt Disney World. The 2018 season will mark a decade since the Disney Magic first launched from Port Canaveral’s Cruise Terminal 8.
The three Disney ships offer several cruising options from January through May 2018. The Disney Fantasy will continue to sail seven-night cruises to the Eastern and Western Caribbean, while the Disney Dream will offer three- and four-night cruises to Nassau and Castaway Cay. The Disney Wonder will alternate similar three-, four- and seven-night itineraries. When it is not in Port Canaveral, the Wonder will be based in San Juan, Puerto Rico and San Diego. The Wonder will sail from San Juan on seven-night cruises to the Southern Caribbean, including one cruise with a stop in Bonaire. Each sailing includes a day at Castaway Cay, Disney’s private island in the Bahamas.
Disney Cruise Lines is adding Bonaire, a new port of call, on Jan. 28. Located just north of the South American coast, the Dutch Caribbean island is known for its tropical climate and reef-lined coast, which lure water-sport enthusiasts for scuba diving, snorkeling, windsurfing, and kiteboarding.
