The runDisney race season begins in 2017 by celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Walt Disney World Half Marathon.

The 13.1-mile course through the Magic Kingdom and Epcot will include special 20th anniversary T-shirts and commemorative finisher medals. The race begins at 5:30 a.m. Jan. 7 and ends in the shadow of Spaceship Earth.

The race is part of the Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend presented by Cigna. The weekend also includes a 5K race on Jan. 5 and a 10K on Jan. 6. The final race of the weekend is the 26.2-mile race Jan. 8 that includes a run through all four Disney theme parks and the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.
