Those thinking of planning a trip to Walt Disney World next year may be able to save some cash if they opt to purchase a “4-Park Magic Ticket” to the resort.
Those who pick up a pass will get access to all four of Disney’s Orlando theme parks — Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disney’s Animal Kingdom. There are three versions of the ticket special: The 4-Park Magic Value Ticket, the 4-Park Magic Select Ticket and the 4-Park Magic Summer Ticket.
The Value ticket will cost $340 for adults and $320 for children and is valid from Jan. 18 through March 1. The Select ticket will cost $356 for adults and $336 for children and will get buyers in the door from March 2 through Sept. 30. The Summer ticket will cost $380 for adults and $360 for children and grant access to the parks from May 28 through Aug. 18.
The blackout dates for the “Select” variant are March 15 – 26, April 10 – 26 and May 28 – Aug. 18. There are no blackout dates for the other ticket specials.
Each of the three ticket specials will cost less than purchasing four one-day theme park passes. During the dates the Value ticket will be on sale, for example, a Florida resident would have to pay between $104 and $129 for a one-day pass while the Value ticket averages out to $85 a day.
There is some fine print:
— The tickets aren’t “park hoppers,” so guests will only be able to get into one park a day.
— Guests can only go to each park once — meaning no double dipping if you can’t check off everything at the Magic Kingdom in one day.
— The tickets are valid for one week after the first use, after which any unused days expire.
