SeaWorld Orlando will be adding to its calendar of special events with the park’s first-ever Craft Beer Festival, scheduled to held over two weekends this November.
The park said the fest will feature more than 100 draft beers from Florida breweries, along with “a few domestic and international craft favorites.” For those not wanting to drink on an empty stomach, SeaWorld will also offer more than 20 “unique food items” designed to pair with the craft brews.
“Guests looking to taste their way around the Florida craft beer scene can take advantage of SeaWorld’s sampling packages designed for the most adventurous beer fans,” the park said in a press release.
The event will run on Saturdays and Sunday between Nov. 3 and 11.
It’s not unusual for Orlando parks to use alcohol to entice guests, though often those events go on for much longer than the Craft Best Festival. Epcot’s soon-to-open Food and Wine Festival will last from Aug. 30 until Nov. 12. SeaWorld’s own Seven Seas Food Festival, which featured 50 wines and 70 beers to pair with the food offerings, ran on weekends earlier this year from Feb. 17 through the end of April earlier this year.
Ahead of the Craft Beer Festival, SeaWorld will be wrapping up its other summer beer promotions. Until Sept. 2, guests 21 years and older can receive up to two free 7-ounce beers per visit at Mama Pretzel’s Kitchen Patio from 10:30 a.m. until one hour before the park closes.
Also ending on Sept. 2 is the park’s daily happy hour at Flamecraft Bar and Sharks Underwater Grill Bar. Until then, guests can take advantage of a buy one, get one free offer on all drinks and select food items at those locations starting at 4 p.m.
